Representative Erin Paré has served in the North Carolina House of Representatives since January 2021. She represents the people of District 37 in southern Wake County.

For the 2025-2026 Legislative Session, Representative Paré serves on the House Committees on:

• Appropriations, General Government (Vice Chair)
• Rules, Calendar, and Operations of the House (Vice Chair)
• Energy and Public Utilities 
• Health
• Homeland Security and Military and Veterans Affairs
• House Select Committee on Helene Recovery 
• Transportation
• Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operations
• Joint Legislative Economic Development and Global Engagement Oversight Committee
• Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services (Advisory Member)

In addition, Rep. Paré has been appointed to the office of Deputy Conference Chair.

For the 2023-2024 Legislative Session, Representative Paré was a Chair of the Health Committee and Vice Chair on two committees: Appropriations - Health and Humans Services and Energy and Public Utilities. Additionally, she served on the House Committees on Alcohol Beverage Control, Appropriations, Military and Veterans Affairs, Regulatory Reform, Rules, and the Select Committee on Substance Abuse.

In her freshman session in 2021-2022, Representative Paré served as Chair of the House Select Committee on Advancing Women in S.T.E.M. In April of 2023, Paré was appointed to the Interstate Commission on Educational Opportunity for Military Children State Council. 

Erin is a member of the Early Childhood Caucus, the Life Science Caucus, the Joint Bipartisan Arts Caucus, and serves as an officer of the bipartisan Legislative Women’s Caucus. Erin is a Leader of the Workforce Development legislative working group and a member of the Election Integrity and Homeland Security legislative working groups.
